Cognizant-Sr. Software Engineer B2
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer B2 with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is mandatory. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement best practices for software development and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the companys competitive edge.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Ensure that all software solutions are secure and scalable.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
- Have extensive experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Show ability to work in a hybrid work model and adapt to changing environments.
- Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Certifications Required
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer
