• Lead a Scrum/team of DWH/BI/ETL/Report developers/testers.

• Perform development (code, unit test & deploy) for Data warehousing domain using ETL Tools (Azure data bricks, Azure data factory or other equivalent tools)
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/mart.
• Understand High Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low Level Design. Perform application analysis & propose technical solution for application enhancement or resolve production issues.
• Creation of necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
• Handle Production Issues in warranty period & ensure SLAs are met.

What will your job look like?

• You will provide technical leadership to software engineers by coaching and mentoring throughout end-to-end software development, maintenance, and lifecycle to achieve project goals to the required level of quality; promote team engagement and motivation.
• Provide recommendations to the software engineering manager for estimates, resource needs, breakthroughs and risks; ensure effective delegation, supervising tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and critical issues.
• Hands-on technical and functional mentorship to design, maintenance, build, integration and testing of sophisticated software components according to functional and technical design specifications; Follow software development methodologies and release processes
• You will analyze and report the requirements and provide impact assessment for new features or bug fixes. Make high-level design and establishes technical standards.
• You will represent and lead discussions related to product/ application/ modules/ team and build relationships with internal customers/partners
• You will implement quality processes (such as performing technical root cause analysis and outlining corrective action for given problems), measure them and takes corrective actions in case of variances and ensure all the project agreed work are completed to the required level of quality.

All you need is…

Technical Skills:
Mandatory:

• Have 2+ years of hands-on experience in DataLake / Snowflake
• Have 2+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud services / Azure Data Factory
• Working experience in Azure Databricks/ Pyspark
• Experience in Development, Performance Tuning and loading into Snowflake.
• Experience of working with Azure DevOps or GitHub or any other DevOps tool
• Nice to have – Azure certified.
• Expert knowledge in Oracle/SQL – Ability to write complex SQL/PL-SQL & performance tune.
• Expert knowledge in python/spark.

Good to have:

• Understanding of Big data technologies (Hive, Kafka etc)
• Control-M, Unix Shell Scripting
• Willingness to learn all data warehousing technologies & work out of the comfort zone in new ETL/BI technologies.
